Congratulations!!

FINALLY!! We can say congratulations to bummie Emily for passing her advanced open water this morning at CLEAR Reef.. after waiting for.. how long was it? :) and also welcome & congratulations to our new open water friend, Daryl Narcis who has yet to join divebums but I do hope he will join us soon!!

I must admit, I was reluctant to dive today due to the recent weather conditions but ... to maintain friendship..& accomplish today's mission. I had to do what I have to do.. Waking up this morning @ 645am, the sun was out!! that was a good sign for starts.. okay, getting more optimistic.. Arriving Muara, the water seemed calm.. but I was told.. wait.. don't forget this is an inlet so we won't really know until we're really out there...

Well, we finally headed out and wow!! Amazing!! Calm waters.. Getting more and more excited as we reached CLEAR Reef, I was ready to jump in! Gears on, in we went... But sighs.. viz was.. disappointing.. plus.. swell in the waters :( It was extremely hard to shoot pictures. Unfortunately water conditions did not improve on the second dive.. It seems that my dive hobby in Brunei has ended.. time to search for more dive destinations overseas..

BUT... wait.. I am SOOOOO happy that Emily & Daryl not only passed their certifications.. but they also spotted lobsters and cuttlefish!! Yes I'm envious that I didnt get to see that cuttlefish.. BUT I did see gobies haha..
